What is the iopener used for
I already have my old seal off , do you have to use it to put the new seal on ?

This opener is used to soften adhesive. It is placed on top of the glass and heat is transferred through the glass to adhesive. Then adhesive softens and you can prime screen with plastic tools.
It is used in for screen replacement usually.
