Black screen but sound

Hi,

Can you view the TV menu screens OK?

With the TV on and audio heard, try shining a torch at an angle close to the screen and check if there are any images visible. They will be very faint if they are there at all so trying this in a darkened room may help to see them.

If there are images then there is a backlight problem in the TV. This could be caused by a faulty backlight array or a faulty power board.

If you do not see anything it could be a faulty main board or tcon board.

Further testing would be necessary to narrow down the problem
