Why is my phone constantly shutting itself down ONLY in specific place

I currently have a Google Pixel 3 XL. When I am in my high school, my phone is constantly freezing for about 3-5 seconds, then shutting down. (I don’t touch it or change anything when it’s freezing, so I am not the one shutting it down.) It always powers back on by itself automatically. Before this phone, I had a different Google Pixel 3, and it had the same problem. I have been keeping track of when it does this and where, so that I know for sure that it only happens when I’m at school. My cell phone habits in school are not that different from when I’m at home or anywhere else. It happens while I’m actively using it (in the middle of typing, watching a video, etc.,), it happens both when the battery is high and when it’s low, it happens when I’m not actively doing anything to it/touching it- so I will be listening to music while I work and it shuts down. I have also seen it do it when I’m not using it at all- (I know this because the restart screen is a bright white so I can see my phone randomly flashing, and then I see that it’s shutting off. ) That, and the battery level is at the same amount when it powers back on. I am also decently sure that it happens both when Bluetooth is on or when it’s off, but I haven’t paid specific notice to that factor. Same deal with whether I’m using Wifi or data. Some background information on the location of the school- we are neighbored by a highway, as well as a lot of open land. Because we’re kind of, almost “in the middle of nowhere” sometimes our internet/cell connection can be spotty. The two junior high buildings are across from us (across the street but decently far away as they’re separated by parking lots.) We are a decent sized 4a school with no cell phone restrictions and personal school issued Chromebooks, so it’s safe to say that there’s a good amount of device usage in the building and in the area in general.

With that being said, does anyone have any ideas? I have never had this happen with another phone in the past, including my Google Pixel 1, I think a Pixel 2, and an LG 2. This has been happening probably since the year started, so from August-March.
