water damage MacBook wont power up
Okay so spilt water on my macbook while it was closed very little water, immediatly clean it off and turn it off and plugged it in while facing down. I tried to turn it on this morning and it wont power so i googled and i did what i wasnt supposed to do…
Did i fry my system can i still fix my macbook or recover whats on there??

It doesn't take much liquid in the right place to kill a machine, so if any bit of liquid got inside, unfortunately more than likely it will need repair.
Luckily the machine you have (the function key 13") has a removable SSD, after removing it you'll be able to recover your data using a proper enclosure.

@Dmak - Sadly, this series uses a different interface than the older models. So far there is no external case which can hold it. You will need a second Fn system to use to off load the data from the SSD.
