My surface pro 4 keyboard suddenly didn't work. It also won't work with a new keyboard. Can my interface be repaired?

One thing you can try is System Restore or rolling back any recently performed updates in Settings. It is possible a recent driver update ran that didn’t exactly go as intended, I see this happen all the time with Windows 10. You can also try cleaning the contact points between the keyboard and the Surface, if enough dirt builds up on them it can prevent a functional connection from occurring.
