Why is the picture so dark?
Every time I turn on my Xbox 360, the image is very dark and a little blurry, even after a hard reset but seems to work fine otherwise

Did you open the Xbox and look for leaking or bulged capacitors? Here is an image for reference.

Yes and I did notice one next to the CPU, it was one of the bigger 4, could this be causing it by any chance?
Yes, bad capacitors could cause a dark picture. Could you give me the brand and series(e.g. Nichicon HM), in addition to the uf rating and voltage?

I think it says MFZ under the numbers as well

@cwr81 you have tried a different TV just to make sure that it is not the cause.

Yes I have tried a different tv, same effect, very dark, also I have tried another Xbox 360 I have to make sure it isn’t any of the cables but the cables are fine.

I did also try a reflow of the CPU and GPU and the RAM and it still has this issue, I did notice a bad capacitor next to the cpu, could this be the issue?
