iPhone 7 Plus Possible Damage After Repair
Hi everyone,
I tried replacing my rear-facing camera and battery today on my iPhone 7 Plus. When I put everything back together, I might have put the tri-point Y000 screws onto the wrong positions. I didn’t mark the screw size very well so I might have swabbed to 1.2, 1.3, and 1.0 mm screws’ positions at the bracket over the front panel sensor and the lower display cable bracket to the logic board. I ran all the tests that I could find with the Phone Diagnostic app (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/phone-diag...). Nothing wrong came up…
Everything works just fine now, nothing wrong with the camera, the battery works, the flashlight works, sensor and SIM card also works. I still have anxiety thinking about how much damage I could have possibly done since I’m not an expert with iPhone (just a broke student trying to save money from buying a new phone and super expensive repair in Canada). Could anyone let me know what kind of trouble I might anticipate later in the future if I did indeed screwed up (worst case scenario)?
Thank you very much in advance!
