Surface pro 4 not turning on charging indicator glowing

My surface pro 4 has a cracked screen. I began flickering and blurring all over the place. Then the screen began to turn on and off. I left it on charge one night and it never turned back on. The power supply shows a charging light when plugged in, but nothing works. (power supply is off-brand. bought a new one because the original one broke.) When the power button is pressed no fan noises and connecting to an external monitor doesn’t work. Would appreciate any and all advice, Thank you.
