Can I fix the door on the Tickety Toc Clockhouse?

Ok, so when the red key is turned the blue door is swings open, but when you try to close it back it stops and doesn’t go all the way. This could indicate that another plastic part is preventing it from closing (which means its assembled wrong). Or, it could be that the door is too far out, thus why it closes soon, because it thinks it’s closed in the right position, meaning you’d have to disassemble the door and adjust how back the door should be.
