That is correct. When you push the on button, there is a message to operate the off-on button again. Is this repairable? Sdg

kootenai this “there is a message to operate the off-on button again” does pop up when the POST can not extend the camera’s lens. Try some of the suggestions talked about on here If none of that works, I would consider replacing the lens assembly and then re-evaluate
