iPhone X cameras, flashlight, faceID weird problem
Hi, I’m attempting to fix a dropped iPhone X model A1902 on a fresh clean iOS 15.1
Front and rear cameras (1x and telephoto), flashlight and faceiD don’t work. The phone didn’t break externally, and I don’t see anything obviously broken on the logic board (connectors, resistors, screws looks fine).
At first I was assuming that where could be a problem with the Camera PMU (U3700) but the weird things is that, after several hours I left the phone (untouched) in a cold room, the flashlight back to life.
Later I discovered that the cameras works too in some app: for example if I open a chat in whatsapp I can take a photo, but if I open the “Camera” app on iOS they only see black. I tried to reboot but the flashlight/cameras again completely died for another hours (I can’t even turn on the flash).
Why hours later a reboot some things back to life? Could it be a poor welding in the U3700 that sometimes (expecially in cold conditions) barely works? Can a reballing solve this problem? Or is a camera died that shut down the entire module?
Это хороший вопрос?
UPDATE: after few days also the camera back to life, but if I shut down the iPhone at the restart nothing work again (no flash, no cameras, no faceID). Flash and cameras start working after a while the phone is on.
