What is link between battery and the issue Iam facing?
Your battery is made up of cells so it only takes one cell to fail or not offer out enough power. Your encountering what I call a sputtering event. Your system is cold in deep sleep mode and when you open the lid the system jumps to full power but the demand is greater than what your battery can supply. So your system drops into safe mode. Then you close the lid the system tries to recover and when you lift the lid again your system appears to work without any issues as some circuits where able to hold they power reducing the power demand the second time you try.
