It's not the original remote I bought one that should work with the wi

I have tried to resync it but won't work. Not sure what to do it turns on and it blinks but no connect

Is it possible to test the remote on another Wii? Do you have other remotes that works on the current used Wii? I think that there is something wrong with the controller.. Perhaps you can swap it for a new one.
