What’s better for sound quality 5gen video or 7th gen classic

Does anyone know which one. Is actually better as I have seen quite a lot of articles debating what is better

I am led to believe that The 5g has better bass but suffers distortion

And that the 6/7g is very flat sounding but isn’t very good

I have no idea what to believe as different people say different things ,so I am hoping someone can tell me of what I know is correct or wrong

@hellomacos not really a good repair question since sound quality is very subjective. So you will get 100 different opinions about what everybody thinks. Check on places Which iPod has the best quality audio? - Macintosh How To or a more specific one on herefor some research on it. Again it is very subjective and not a good indicator of what will work for you.
