FaceID+Cellular not working after repair

Had to replace the battery of my iPhone X, afterwards the cellular doesn't seem to work and just ends up on a "No Service" state, it briefly went on 3G, but after closing the device back up, and restarting it went back to "No Service"

As for Field Test Mode, everything seems fine besides CA status related things which just says Unavailable, I have no clue if that's normal or not, as I don't know much about FTM.

Along with this, FaceID doesn't seem to work, it doesn't give an error or anything in settings or at any point, resetting and setting up FaceID again it just keeps asking me to "Move iPhone a little lower/higher", or "Face obstructed"

I've no clue where to go from here.

Just placed back on the main bracket on the logic board, to close up the phone for today, suddenly the cellular came back, at 4G, CA status no longer says unavailable. I have no clue what I did, likely pressed on some flex cable or similar. However, FaceID is still being weird.

When trying to setup face ID and you keep getting the message “Move iPhone a little lower or higher usually means that the dot projector has become Faulty. The dot projector is located on the front camera assembly and is serialized with the CPU on the logic board so you just cannot change it. Some repairers offer a repair for this problem but it will be costly.

Make sure this connector is seated properly for cell signal

There could be a lot of reasons for losing cell but if it happened after a battery replacement I would be leaning towards a parts problem. Look at step 23 on this guide and make sure it is fitted and connected properly.

I suspected as such, albeit this isn't as issue I'm too annoyed by, the bigger problem is the cellular data not working.

Look at step 29 on this guide and make sure it is fitted and connected properly.” Link above.” If you are sure that the part is fine and connected properly I would see if the phone is generating an IMEI number. To do this input *#06# into the keypad and see if it brings up your IMEI number. If it doesn’t you might have a problem with the logic board but this is unlikely from a battery replacement.

@imicrosoldering I already tried to check the IMEI in the past, and I did it again to verify, it does in fact still pop-up, I do recall at one point it was just loading but never showing anything, but that's no longer the case.

In the guide, are you referring to the speaker on step 29 or the bracket on the steps after it? I assume the latter, either way I'll have a go at that when I wake up.

Attempted this, still same problem, I want to point out the camera itself does work, however there seem to be some sensor that's not working, considering the FaceID messages, furthermore trying to use the portrait mode with the front camera only yields in it saying "Move Further Away"

Besides the front camera working, the earpiece speaker also works just fine, so I don't suspect it's related to the proximity sensor, at least not the cable. (To my knowledge they use the same cable)

Also disconnecting either of the FaceID flex cables gives the "FaceID Disabled" message, so the FaceID cables are connected. So I have literally no clue what the culprit is.

Well unfortunately the front camera houses all the Face ID senses and therefore you have to replace it but unfortunately when you replace it Face ID will not work unless Apple pairs it
