Horizontal Transparent Grey Bar Across top of TV screen

just moved and when I set my tv up again (UN50KU6720, 50 INCH 4K) I got this transparent grey bar on the top of my screen.

I have tried everything I could find online to fix it: I have unplugged all HDMIs and turned it on, unplugged all HDMIs and unplugged it for 30sec-1 min before turning it back on, I also took off the back panel of the TV so I could see if there was any loose connections, but nothing was obviously wrong. I also turned off smart hub to no avail.

Besides the black bar, when I have my ps4 on and I'm scrolling the the menu items on the part of the screen that has the grey bar, it briefly turns a shade of purple and takes a moment for the icon that was there before scrolling to fade. When the screen is on something very white or bright it also turns that shade of purple.

Someone on reddit suggest I do this: https://youtu.be/Q_k3thuCx9c

but I want a second opinion!

I provided photos from the screen test in the TV's self diagnostics below:

Any help is greatly appreciated.

@greasewizard you don't want to do what was recommended to you on Reddit. Totally different error. Your issue could actually be RAM related. See how the grey bar does not extend all the way across the screen? It starts to fade about 1/2 way across. Let's see if we can see what is going on with the display. If youy already removed the back cover from your TV, take a look on the label which ios glued on the back of the LCD panel. Let us know what numbers it shows, or post a picture of it with your QUESTION.

For now you want to clean the ribbon cables and the connectors. Make sure those are all properly seated.

@oldturkey03 thanks for the reply! I wasn't sure which label you were referring to so I took a pic of all the labels inside the back of the TV plus added a few other pictures of just general views of the inside.

Adding photos to the original post since I don't see a way to do it in this reply.

@oldturkey03 I removed the ribbons and tried to clean them as best I could (don't have compressed air) and reconnected them, however the picture got worse. Now there is an additonal horizontal line underneath what was there before. It is faint in the photos I'm posting but it is very noticeable in person.

@greasewizard if it got worse while cleaning the cables it could be that there is corrosion etc on those or the connectors. Of course, make sure they are seated properly.

@oldturkey03 could this (another photo added of ribbon connectors) be the issue? some of them look bent. Can I fix this?
