My iPod is locked and I havent synced it with itunes

I made a password for my ipod and have forgot it and i havent synced it to itunes and its saying to connect it to itunes every time i do it says i have to put the password in before i can connect it with itunes what do i do?

Andrew try this You can unlock it putting the device into DFU mode and then restore it with itunes, BUT this will erase all data on your iPod. Here is an excellent description how to place your iPod in DFU mode. Hope this helps. If not, let us know and let us know what computer OS you are using.
