List of known issues with a bad LVDS
I wanted to know if anyone can tell me what list of issues can be caused by a bad LVDS connector ? or where I could find out all the issues ?

Let's see if we can diagnose the issues before quoting Gray's Anatomy to you. Hook it up to an external display first and see if you get an image. Have you been into it?

It works when using an external display. So not thinking it’s GPU at this stage.
When booting without the screen I can use the Mac, but it’s bogged down and fans full speed.
If I connect the lcd fans operate normally but turns on, then goes to boot loading bar and sits there with the progress bar not moving.
So you have been into it. You are getting theBoot Loading Bar when you turn on with the LCD in place, so it's not the Display. Try booting in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift Key on start up and let us know your results. This sounds more like a hard drive issue or possible Firmware update issue that failed. Is the loading bar normal or have oval ends? What system are you running and did this start after a system update?
I have recently done a fresh install of mojave and from what I have tread that includes firmware these days. For some reason no matter what I try with the lcd connected it just stays at the same screen. If I run external only it works fine but super slow
The boot loading bar comes up but does not move at all. Even after an hour. With an external it loads pretty quick and into the OS as normal. @mayer

@mayer nothing. But not getting boot when LCD is connected and wanted to know if that is the cause or should I look elsewhere.

Would it stop it booting when LCD is connected ? @tech_ni

@Marc Webb not sure there should be lights on the board and 1 should be off because the lcd is disconnected, does the lvds look damaged etc that your asking about it
