Xbox turning on my speaker system with no connection

Hello, my speaker setup is janky, it’s a 3.5 jack to av output connected between my controller and my speaker system, Xbox has this option to automatically turn on your speaker systems, i thought this was through the controller, but one day my speaker system was not plugged into my Xbox in anyway whatsoever, and I turned on my Xbox and My Xbox turned on the speaker system, without any wired connection in between them. I know this sounds like a made up story, no one else would beleive but I have a video if you need solid proof
