Hi Xavier,
Well, the obvious diagnosis here is that your battery has probably died. If it's never been changed since 2017, I'd say you're due for a replacement; lithium ion batteries definitely have a limited lifetime, as evidenced by the number of them I've had to replace over the last few years in various electronic devices.
If you want to support iFixit's repair efforts, you can buy a replacement right here on this site; I would recommend getting the Fix Kit as it includes all the tools you will need to do the repair; it's only $5 USD more.
Nintendo Switch Console Battery - iFixit Store
Batteries for the Switch are also readily available all over the place; you can get them on eBay, Amazon, AliExpress and private electronics websites as well; an internet search will bring up a lot of them.
Of course, you'll want the step by step directions to replace the battery, and you can find those right here.

Good luck with your repair; let us know how it goes, and feel free to ask if you need help.

A computer charger? What happens when you plug in the original switch charger? The switch charger puts out 15 volts. What does the computer charger put out?

This is the charger I used. Also when I plug the original charger in, nothing happens, no charging symbol, nothing showing me that it's charging, nothing.

@thatoneguy23 That charger looks ok so not that. Only suggestion would be a new battery, charge port or both. The charge port requires a hot air station to remove the old one and fit the new one. Also confidence in soldering.
