That is an indication the system can’t locate the OS files to boot from.
Try restarting the system and quickly press the Option key to enter into the startup manager. You should get a listing of the drives/volumes which offer Athena system files, select one and see if that worked. If you don’t see any listed the the drive is either damaged or missing or the drive cable is bad.
