Everything turns on but picture is blue, if I quickly unplug and replug tv into power it starts perfectly. Is this a result of a faulty power supply

Yes probably a faulty power supply, you could probably buy one on amazon or something for a pretty good price. just make sure the voltage and wattage are the same as the old one. hope this helps :)

Thanks for that confirmation of what I was guessing may be solution, I will likely do as you suggest and purchase a new board. I will let you know if it does fix issue.
I have not pulled the trigger on power board yet- any other ideas to confirm it is likely the power board compared to led board or mother board.
Recap- it turns on with a blue screen- all sound etc but until I quickly unplug and replug it won't completely turn on. It works 100% correctly once I do that unless I turn off for many hours then just need to unplug again.

@dmac61 measure the voltages on the connector for the main board cable. Measure on the power supply side. The voltages should be stenciled on the power supply. If all of those are present the issue will not be your power supply but most likely your main board. It always helps if we can see what you see.
