Does A2337 MacBook Air have a different display than its predecessor?

So basically, I have found a MacBook Air display, but I couldn’t find any information if it’s interchangeable with the older generations etc. From what I can see on some photos that I’ve found, the connector looks a bit different, but I’m asking if I have to look for a specific model of a MacBook Air or any Retina 13” gen will work?

There are numerous differences between the displays!

First the older non retina are not compatible with the retina models. Next even within the retina models Apple enhanced and altered things so you can’t even swap between them like we could before.

So simply put you need the correct display for your given system. Now let me put the rug out from under you! In Apples wisdom the Late 2020 M Series and newer are now serialized to the system! So you need to get directly from Apple the replacement part as you need access to a special tool only Apple has to calibrate the display to your system.

Yell out Thank You Apple! In anger.
