I want to upgrade the logic board on my Mac air retina 2019

Can I buy one online and replace the older one

Is their any configuration that needs to be done before I remove it, are there any issues I should be aware of.

This series only offered one version as you can see here: MacBook Air Core i5 1.6GHz

While there are newer series of this system they may not work. I think you’ll find a used newer system cheaper that trying to replace the board, for reference the replacement bd $600.
