2 years ago after replacing my battery, I reported that my wifi not working which eventually worked again after a few days without me doing anything special.
Today 2 years and 3 months later, I replaced the battery again. This time it's the keyboard and keypad not responding :(
I'd like to solicit suggestions on what I can do. Thanks in advance!

This series had a slight design failure! The trackpad cable wraps around the battery over it Vs under it. While that doesn’t seem like a big deal it turns out as the battery degrades it swells which stretches the cable! Basically, damaging it. Hi Dan.. Thank you for the reply. I will order this part as I suspected this cable broke due to I had a hard time removing it due to the replaced battery having expanded.
However, does it explain the undetected keyboard as well? Thank u again
@wanderlasss - Often the cable shorts out so both are effected.
@danj Ah I see. That's great. I hope that's it as am not looking forward to replacing the keyboard!

Well I will suggest you to check for the driver updated of keyboard driver and mouse driver as well because some time an outdated driver can cause this kind of issue so i will suggest you to updated your outdated driver and you can easily updated them manually as well automatically as all you need to install a good driver updater software for your mac.

@gtip - in a MS Windows system that can happen. In Macs we don’t face that risk.
