As @jayeff pointed out. The most common and easiest thing to check are the fuses and the relay. Fuses first. As the Relay you cannot see if the connection is broken. Here are some other things to check also.
1. Horn itself. They very rarely break. Yet can happen. Use a Volt Meter to check if there is power when the horn is depressed.
- Broken wire or bad connector. Wires do break and they for sure can become corroded. Unplug the wiring from the horn and clean the connection. On both the horn and the wire. Also trace the wire from the horn. It will probably end up in the wiring harness which at that point you leave alone. If you clean the connections, put a dab of Dielectric grease on it. As this will prevent future corrosion and is Electricity safe.
- Now, it could be a broken Clockspring, which is located in between steering wheel and steering column. This is not something you want to do if you are not certified. As it does involve removing a lot of things and also the airbag safety issue is a for sure to consider. If you have checked all the above and what Jayeff said. It may need to see the dealer or someone skilled in removing the wheel and such.
- Last but not least. It could be that the Horn button has worn out. Maybe you or the previous owner was very impatient and used the horn as much as the gas pedal. In this case you will want someone skilled also.
