I have a dell insp 1100 wont power up.Hit the power button it flash yellow n green .replaced battery but wont power up .

Sounds like a hardware failure, i used to have one of these as my work laptop, but it never did this, are you using the right charger? and memory? that laptop uses a P-9 family charger, and non-ECC Laptop DDR

Try using the 'Bootstrap Approach' troubleshooting to detect the problem. Pull-out one-by-one source components dan switch-ON the power. Started first with battery, harddisk, cdd and RAM. If these approach unchange, the problem came from DC-DC converter or motherboard are faulty.

Its not hardware issue, this happens usually when carbon creates between RAM and mother board slot. Simply open RAM and clean it properly with paper as well as slot and connect as it was before. Now turn on your computer it will start working.Thanks.
