Hard Drive does not start up after replacing left Fan

I replaced the left fan on my MacBook Pro. While the top was open, I started everything up to make sure everything loaded correctly all the way to the login screen. It worked fine so I closed everything up and tightened all the screws. Then when I tried starting it up it got to the apple screen with an empty progress bar bellow it. I see the spinning progress wheel but nothing else happens. Please Help.

Tried resetting the NVRAM. Reopened the computer and all connections are secure. The problem persists. I was able to get the laptop to boot off of an external hard drive (which already has a boot patrician) When I open disk utility, the "MacBook Pro" Volume (which is my internal hard drive) does not mount. Verifying the disk tells me that the disk needs to be repaired.

It could be a coincidence but your hard drive may be bad. Install a working one or try to repair the faulty one with DiskWarrior.

This just shouldn't happen. Reset the pmu first. Try booting in Safe mode by holding down the Shift key. Reseat the RAM, one at a time. Zap the pram let us know if none of this works.

Reset PMU and Booted in Safe Mode. Did not help. Not sure how to reset the ram one at a time. I did do the "Apple Hardware Test" on the original install disk and "no problems were found".

Did you go ahead and repair the disk? If not do so. You've found your problem, the internal hard drive. Run Disk Utility again and see if it still needs repair. Back up your data now. Reinstall the system. If problem persists, zero out the drive and install new system. Be prepared to replace the drive.

Remove one RAM chip and try to restart twice. What is your RAM configuration?

Ran Disk Utility, it errors out and says drive is "Unrepairable" The internal hard drive is only 2 months old. Ran Drive Genius "Scan" and no bad sectors were found. Reset the ram but problem persists. Going to "0" out the drive and reinstall. Is there any other tests I should do on the drive before preceding?

You're doing the right thing. Writing zero's to the disk should help map out any bad sectors on the drive. If there are to many, the process will stop and tell you. What is the description of the drive you are working with?

Double check all the cables connections. A cable not well seated in his socket could abort the booting processus.
