The Starlink Gen3 dish is a satellite internet dish developed by SpaceX, designed to connect users to their Starlink satellite internet service.

What would I do if my dish was submerged in water for 10ish minutes?

Hypothetical; let’s say the dish fell in a body of water and sat there for 10-15 minutes. If you were able to drain it, would it still work? Purely hypothetical of course.

Hello,

In this scenario, since the the dish is only rated for IP54, which makes it resistant to splashes and dust, but it really should not be submerged. In the off chance that this isn't purely a hypothetical scenario, I recommend first disconnecting it from power, taking a look at our Electronics Water Damage Wiki, and opening the dish up to both dry, and clean the components.

Best of luck to you!
