pressure plate looks a little tad pressed in on bottom after dusting
Will this affect the X-370 performance? I bought this used in 1999.

As long as the film pressure plate is still fully connected to the rear cover and square when it fully seats wedging the film you should be fine. Make sure there is no dents or scuff marks on the plate.

Thanks so much for your answer. There is a dent at the bottom of the plate where it connects to the base. But it is all connected. Can it be repaired? Or should I buy a new body. One is available on Amazon.
Dan, I tested the camera after inserting new batteries. The plate was undamaged. The screen over which the film glides was pressed in a bit at the bottom but after testing the camera just now, all is well. It all appears to be fine. The camera needs a good cleaning. Thanks much!
