Ensure that the lock feature isn't engaged, which can prevent movement. Some beds have a "lock" or "hold" feature to prevent accidental adjustments.

f the bed's head movement is powered by motors, check for any obvious signs of malfunction, such as strange noises or lack of movement.

Listen for sounds of the motor trying to engage. If you hear a buzzing sound but no movement, the motor might be faulty or the mechanism could be jammed.

Inspect the motor and mechanism for any visible obstruction or damage.

4. Hydraulic or Pneumatic Systems

If the bed uses hydraulics or pneumatics to adjust the head, check for fluid leaks or damage to the hydraulic pump. Low fluid levels or air in the lines can prevent movement.

For pneumatic systems, ensure that there is no air leakage.

5. Check the Cables and Connections

Ensure that all cables and connections, including those leading to the control unit or motor, are properly connected and not damaged.

6. Reset the Bed

Some Stryker beds have a reset function. Check the manual to see if there’s a way to reset the bed's control system or to troubleshoot with diagnostic codes.

chances are that one of the gears is stripped or the motor isn't getting enough torque due to a lack of power.
