iPhone X Display Not Responding to Touch After Screen and Battery Repl

About half a year ago, I replaced the screen and battery of my iPhone X after the original screen was damaged. Both the screen and battery I used are not original Apple parts. From the very first day after the replacement, the display touch has been intermittently unresponsive. I tried all possible software fixes, including a force reset, which sometimes temporarily resolved the issue. However, the problem has now worsened, and the display touch is completely unresponsive.

I've opened the phone several times, unplugging and cleaning the display and battery connectors before reconnecting them. Each time, the touch functionality returns but only for a few hours before it stops working again. The last time, I only unplugged and reconnected the battery cable, and the touch started working again, but the issue returned after a few hours. I also ran diagnostics using 3uTools and received the error "Problem connecting CPU and peripherals Panic CPU x caller."

Could this be a hardware issue with the replacement parts, or is there something else I should investigate? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to second Daniel's opinion; it sounds like your digitizer has been flaky from the start and has only gotten worse. With the price of iPhone X screens having dropped precipitously, I would definitely suggest a new one. Decent screens can be had on AliExpress for under $35 nowadays. Here's the last one I bought that worked just fine for only about $15 USD. Be sure and order the OLED version, not the INCELL one.

Pay attention though, a recent development I've run into is that some screens (including the one I linked to) are not including the little green plastic mount that holds the front sensor assembly. If that's the case you'll either need to salvage your existing one or just order replacements; they're dirt cheap; I got 10 of them for $1.20 USD, not including a couple of bucks for shipping.

It just takes a couple of drops of glue to secure that mount to the screen. Hopefully that'll get you going again; out of all the screens I've replaced I have yet to see a digitizer problem that wasn't fixed with a new display.

Yes I agree I have fixed a lot of phones over the years. I’ve only ever seen it once where touch was caused from a board issue, very rare! . And that phone had no touch at all not intermittent touch.

My guess damaged flex on digitiser ..you need a new screen. The replacement was faulty from the start. The digitiser flex cable is seriously delicate . Your symptoms fit inline with that being the cause over anything else.
