Only one of two USB-C ports is taking a charge when plugged in.
Earlier this year, I submitted a post on this site about my MBAir M1 dying a few days after spilling red wine on the keyboard. I was unable to charge it or start it up. The battery had completely discharged. That was six months ago. I put the MBAir aside until recently and it now takes a charge through only one of the two USB-C ports. The battery has now fully charged for the first time since the wine incident. Other than the non-functioning USB-C power port, the MBAir now appears to be mostly functional.
Just to be sure, I recently ran the Apple Diagnostics offline and it returned two codes and explanations, PPP020 and PPP001, No power adapter was detected, There may be an issue with the power port. The MBAir was plugged and charging during the diagnostics test. Also ran the general diagnostics online with a secondary iMac and it alerted me to a Power Port issue, No power adapter was detected. It asked me to connect it to power and run the test again.
Separately, I tried to connect peripherals to either of the two of the USB-C ports; (1) a wireless mouse with a dongle and (2) a wired external hard drive. They do NOT connect.
Bottom line appears to be that I have a mostly functioning MBAir. Only one of two USB-C ports is taking a charge. The diagnostics test is not detecting any power even though it is connected in the functioning USB-C port. I am unable to connect any peripherals.
I am generally okay with continuing to use this MBAir as a secondary computer under these conditions. I am open to attempting a repair unless there is a significant risk. Any thoughts about my situation would be appreciated. Thanks.

Update (09/26/24)
Update No. 1:
Thanks for the suggestion to replace the replace the USB-C board. I just replaced it with a new USB-C board by following fixit guide steps to the letter. Unfortunately, nothings has changed. Only one of two ports takes a charge and neither port will connect a peripheral mouse. Does anyone have a suggested next step? Thank you. PS I am still trying to post my pictures of the inside which seemed very clean to me.

@jjreynol I'd consider replacing the USB-C board MacBook Air 13" Late 2020 USB-C Board Replacement and then re-evaluate. Also, you do want to consider posting some good picture of your logic board with your Question. That way we can see what you see and possibly identify other, Red Wine related issues :-)

@jjreynol there are a few things you can do yourself. First off, clean your board. Get some high grade isopropyl alcohol (anything around +92% will work). Now, clean your board with a soft brush (new soft toothbrush will work) and clean your board. Use something like this guide. Even so it was written for an Apple iPhone 3G, all the points are still pertinent to your phone. Yes, it does have a good amount of corrosion on it but it does look fixable. You do see those two "white" components just left to the IC's (USB-C controller IC's)? Those are the power fuses for the ports. I somehow think those might just need replacing :-) Clean the board and give us another well-focused look at it via a new picture :-). I am certain we can guide you further.
