How to remove Google account from the phone I bought

Do you know the Google account user name and password associated with the phone?

If not, can you contact the seller and ask them what it is?

Can you access the phone OK or is there a password required to access the phone when it is on?

If a password is required to access the phone, here's a previous answer on ifixit that shows how to perform a wipe data/factory reset, procedure, which will get rid of the password, but not the FRP (factory reset protection) lock that is enabled by the reset, because the Google account is still associated with the phone.
