Why is my TCL showing the headphones symbol

Can you hear any sounds if you plug a set of headphones into the phone?

If you can then try plugging/unplugging the headset of few times to see if this resolves the problem. It may be a sticking contact inside the headphone jack in the phone that was causing the icon to appear when nothing was plugged in.

If you can't hear any sounds in the headset when it is plugged in and trying to clear the problem as suggested above doesn't work then most likely the headphone jack in the phone needs to be replaced.
