The Escalade moved to the new GMT900 platform for the 2007 model year.

Driver's side window motor is blown, but can not longer order the part

Dorman 751-700 is no longer available for purchase. I believe it is a six terminal connector. Is there anyway to replace it with a different wiring schematic to use an older model that uses a two pin?

@rob8287 this may just be an issue with the Dorman parts. I 'd try looking for different brands as well. something like this and many others may still work for your Escalade. (Example only, not an endorsement of the seller)

Update (09/16/25)

Just checked the schematic for your power window and there is no way that all the functions of the power window can be accomplished with a 2-contact connector. Take some more pictures but zoom out. Lets see what and where those connectors are actually located. It looks like the motor has a 2 contact connector which connects to the passenger door module.

The problem is that this is a two pin/terminal connection. The other part has 6 pins/terminals. I tried to rewire the two pin to the six pin but had no luck. I think their is a saftey low voltage terminal on the dorman product.

@rob8287 are you saying that the replacement motor/regulator have a six-pin connector and the one on your Cadillac has a two-pin connector.

@oldturkey03 Negative, the current configuration is for a six pin connector. The only ones available are for a 2 pin connector. - Thanks

Do you think it could be fixed with a resistor and loop the contacts back to the module? I have done that with my Rear Air Ride shocks to turn of the "Service Suspension Display" I will take some photos soon.

I have the same issue and it seems to be the chip that the 6 pin connector plugs into. You can remove the chip that the 6 pin plugs into and it will reveal 2 pins. This is where I put power from a 12v and it raised and lowered the window by switching the positive and negative wires, just like traditional power windows. I know this doesn’t solve our problem because I can find a new chip. But I may try to buy a used unit and just swap the chip to see if that works.
