The TTL function do not work when using the Pentax LX with the AF280T
The Pentax LX camera does not function properly with the TTL feature when paired with the AF280T flash unit. Regardless of aperture setting—from minimum to maximum—the flash fires at full power. Furthermore, the camera's exposure indicator does not blink to confirm proper exposure after the shot. I can confirm the flash unit is in good working order, as it functions perfectly when used with a Pentax Super A camera. What should I do to resolve this issue?

Those old vintage cameras usually used contacts to enable the flash (on/off) without any possibility to affect power of the flash. Some of them can change time of enabled state, but it flash is configured wrong, it won't help.
