The display panel displays horizontal lines. After disconnecting one part of the panel, half of it works perfectly, while the other half works terribly. I also tried covering the pins with flex tape, but the best results were still very poor. Is there anything else I can do about this?

I fixed it using piece of tape. Now horizontal lines are gone. I recommend watching this video: https://youtu.be/SbGAkRgaZhs

@amugus "display panel displays horizontal lines" what lines? Are you referring to your image #4? What's going on with that ribbon cable? which ribbon cable is that? You say "half of it works perfectly, while the other half works terribly" are you referring to top and bottom half or left and right half?
