Red light displays but will not power on. What causes this?

@bobbydmoore the red light just means that your power supply provides the standby voltage to the main board. It does not mean that the rest of your boards get proper power etc.. For that, you would have to remove the back cover and measure the voltages form the power supply to the mainboard etc. you also want to check the remote control as well as your power button.
