Camera will not turn on

Val, time to take it apart and check the battery connections. Make sure they are all in good working order. Check the bottom of the battery door, make sure that it pushes the battery so as to make connection with the battery connectors. Of course, make sure that you connectors are not corroded. The only other things you can try and check, but you will require a multimeter for it, are the 1.25A 32V fuse F8001 on the logic board, or the regulators IC 9001 and 1002.
