Heated steering wheel control won't turn on. Cruise control works occasionally. All other controls on the steering wheel work perfectly fine?

Looking at the wiring diagram from the 2007-2013 Escalade service manual, there's a heated steering wheel control module that controls the operation of both the heated steering wheel and the cruise control.
Since the heated steering wheel function doesn't work and the cruise control is intermittent it could be a faulty module or a loose connection from/to the module.
