iPhone 4 home button not working, rear camera removed.

Hey guys just a problem i have with my iphone is that my home button is not working, things i've done to fix this is replace the home button and flex cable its still non existant, im currently using assertive touch to get around this problem, however when i replace the home button + flex cable i charged my iphone after i reassembled it and my iphone was 'melting' hot!i ended up narrowing it down to my rear camera so i removed it. Can anyone give me advise or help ???
