Does the iMac Intel 27" Mid 2011 Dual Hard Drive Kit solve the issue with the proprietary temperature sensing firmware that Apple used on these machines?
I want to do this, but don't want to be surprised when I put the machine back together.

It will solve it, it is only a issue with the main 3.5'' SATA hard drive from the factory if it was replaced with a non apple drive that does not have Apple's firmware
