Identification and Background
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T9 was released in 2006 and was the first of Sony's ultra slim T-Series cameras. The camera is identified by the model number, DSC-T9, which is found on the left side of the top of the camera under the text "Super SteadyShot."
This camera has a 2.5 inch LCD, 6 megapixel camera, and a Carl Zeiss "folded" 3x zoom. The camera's physical dimensions are 3 9/16" x 2 3/16" x 13/16" and has a sliding front lens cover. The camera weighs 5.8 oz with the battery.
