Open the passenger side door and open the glove box.

Remove any contents inside of the glove box.

Using a Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the 15 mm screw securing the dampener rod to the right of the glove box.

Remove the glove box by squeezing inwards on the sides of it then pulling it straight out.

Squeeze inward on the left and right tabs of the air filter cover.

Pull the cover off slowly.

Gently remove the old air filter to avoid dropping debris over the car floor.

Align a new air filter with the airflow direction arrow pointing downwards.

Slide the new filter into place.
