Without a working battery, your car won't start. Replacement is the best long-term solution for this for a dead battery. You could get a boost from another car using jumper cables, but there's a chance the battery will die soon afterwards. Although the chance of shocking yourself is not very high, grounding yourself is recommended. Wearing rubber gloves is also recommended.

I believe you can remove the battery while the engine is running, one way to avoid radio reset. BUT the replacement procedure must be done FASTT! (I've done it twice without an issue, attempt at your own risk)

A 9 Volt battery plugged into the Cigarette Lighter Socket will save the SETTINGS; just keep it handy in the glove box because those batteries eventually fail.
