This is a in-speaker replacement guide for the Acer Aspire R5-471T-52EE. The following guide gives step by step instructions on how to remove and replace your in-device speakers. The in-device speakers are vital to the device’s sound functions, without these speakers the laptop will be unable to provide the user with any sound capabilities. While these are very important pieces of the device, they are not crucial to the device operation.

With the hinges of the laptop pointing away from you, gently begin to pull on the portion between the two hinges towards yourself until you feel the cover pop off.

Remove the back cover from the device.

Using your fingers, gently disconnect the battery plug from the motherboard.

Remove the two screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Remove the battery from the device.

Gently peel off all of the black take that sticks down the speaker cables.

Disconnect the two ribbon cables to allow the speaker cable to be removed from underneath.

Unplug the speaker cable from the motherboard.

Using a spudger, gently remove the speakers from the device.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
