In this guide you will learn how to disassemble your laptop, remove the battery and replace it.

First you will flip your laptop upside down so the battery side is facing up.

In order to access the battery you will need to remove the 18 5mm screws. Using your Phillips J1 bit remove the screws.

Carefully insert your plastic opening tool into the seam and move up and down to separate the back panel from the front. Repeat this process all around the laptop until all sides have been separated.

While holding the plastic lever, gently separate the battery from the bottom panel of the laptop.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Yes don’t need to take cover off -battery can be removed by using a pen/screwdriver to slide the tab to the side & battery releases.
It has a very small image of an arrow with a pen next to it. Very misleading (I tried to push it in first!)
If you wiggle the battery, you can see the battery release tab moves with it :-)
