If your Amazon Echo Show's audio is crackly or muffled, you might need to replace the speakers. Follow the prerequisite guide listed at the top--"Opening The Show". This guide tells you how to open up the device so you can access the speakers.

Before starting this guide, gather a T4, T5, and T6 Torx screwdriver. Steps requiring a tweezer can instead be used with your hands carefully.

  4. After the screws are removed, grip the front panel and remove, using a plastic opening tool if necessary. This will expose the inside of the device.

  5. Use tweezers or your hands to carefully disconnect the red wires connecting the speakers to the power supply board. Repeat this step for the other speaker, and lay the front section flat with the facing down.
