Asus K55a-si50301p Battery Replacement

The Asus K55A-Si50301P Battery Replacement Guide explains the tolls and processes used to replace/remove the battery component as needed. Batteries may be dead/faulty if a laptop will not hold consistent charge levels. Other symptoms may include an inability to power on during the boot up phase of the system. No tools will be needed for the completion of removing/replacing this product. The Asus K55A-Si50301P Troubleshooting page may be referred to here as needed.

    • Press and slide the two battery retention clips on either side of the battery towards the unlock position.

    • Pull the right side retention clip so that the red indicator is showing.

    • The small graphic below the retention clip denotes locked and unlocked positions. The clip will stay put once moved into position.

    • Pull the retention clip on the left hand side of the laptop away from the battery.

    • Gently pull the battery out with your free hand.
